Committees
ULI Memphis’ committees are the backbone of the District Council, organized by and comprised of ULI Memphis members working together to help ULI fulfill its mission. Bring your expertise to the table by getting involved with a ULI Memphis committee.
You may also direct any questions to the ULI Memphis staff. Please keep in mind that only current ULI Members can participate on ULI Memphis Committees.

The collective wisdom and experience of our members is what makes ULI unique. Our members represent the entire spectrum of land use and real estate development disciplines, dedicated professionals who work in private enterprise and bring a wealth of knowledge to ULI’s public service.
Member involvement in ULI Memphis is a critical component of our success and we are always looking for people to join our two primary committees:
Connection Committee:
This committee drives recruitment and retention of local member by identifying opportunities to invite, welcome and engage members in programs and networking opportunities. The committee works with staff to regularly send communications to prospects, those who have not renewed, and those whose renewal is up soon. Ideal Members of the committee are interested in professional development, getting to know members, talking to them about their involvement and connecting people to opportunities that make sense for them.
Inspiration Committee:
This committee produces programs under the content pillars that inspire advancement and change in the local real estate industry. In total the Inspiration Committee produces 18-24 programs each year focusing on quality not quantity. Ideal Members of the committee are interested in doing national and local research on best practices, speakers, and information to share locally. Members will help recruit speakers for programs, set up logistics, and create meeting descriptions and promotional materials.
