Memphis Parks: Their Role in Neighborhood Revitalization
On January 29-31 ULI National is coming to Memphis to do a Technical Assistance Panel affiliated with the 10-Minute Walk grant received by the Memphis Parks Commission. They will bring in a national panel of experts to study a family of parks in Southwest Memphis south of Gaston Community Center. The panel will explore the role parks can play in neighborhood revitalization efforts and how to operationalize parks with limited resources. The panel will present their findings on Friday, January 31st from 9:15 – 11:00 at Gaston Community Center.
