First Content & Cocktails: February 26, 2013

Members – Join us at the T. Clifton Art Gallery on Broad Avenue for our first Membership Meeting of 2013. Wes Riddle will give us a brief update on the Complete Streets Project: an approach to planning a city that makes all transportaion options important: biking, walking and public transit.  There will be plenty of time for networking, cocktails and appetizers.  We hope to see you there!

Group touts Memphis Complete Streets policy in Kansas City

A national smart-growth conference in Kansas City was told on Friday how Memphis is starting to tailor its streets for pedestrians and cyclists as well as cars. A Memphis group was to make a 2.5-hour presentation, “Getting to Complete Streets the Grassroots Way,” to the New Partners for Smart Growth Conference.
